Active Listening highlights the importance of this vital skill as an integral element of effective communication. True active listening forms the foundation for earning and developing donor family trust, building mutually respectful professional relationships, and, most importantly, ensuring that families make an informed, pro-active donation decision. 

Acute Grief includes the definition of grief (and acute grief), reactions to grief (physical, emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and spiritual), grief and loss theories and meeting basic needs.

The Donation Conversation: A Process… Not An Event provides an overview of the distinct phases that constitute the donation conversation process. As a result, learners will come to appreciate the many different factors that impact a family’s donation decision.

An Introduction to Dual Advocacy includes information on traditional family approach practices, the dual advocacy model,  and reactive vs. proactive decision-making.
